Dr. Kristin Walleck was born a Chicago native. Throughout her life, she has had pleasure of calling seven other states (between the midwest and east coast) her home. Nevada makes number nine!
Dr. Walleck attended the University of Rhode Island where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science. After College, she worked various jobs to gain experience in the veterinary field – bird keeper, pet sitter, kennel attendant, and veterinary assistant to name a few.
In 2009, she began graduate school at The Ohio State University. One year later, she began Veterinary School. Dr. Walleck graduated from OSU with two degrees: a Master’s in Public Health (MPH), and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). In the future, Dr. Walleck would like to gain certification in physical rehabilitation.
Now in Nevada with her significant other, Joe, Kristin loves spending her free time exploring the region and experiencing everything that Reno and Tahoe have to offer. Together, they have two dogs; Lobo (a Great Pyrenees mix) and Mugsy (a chow/pit/lab mix) and a cat named Princeton.
